Blue Mountains

This weekend I took a solo trip to the Ketumba in the Blue Mountains. It was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city filled with lots of nature and great scenery. One of the coolest things was seeing cockatoos in the "wild". They're like pigeons with how many there are flying around. I also got to ride on the world's steepest railway!

The mountains were unlike anything I'd ever seen before and it hammered home how big Australia is. When I thought about Australia, I just thought of a small island similar to Hawai'i (of course bigger than Hawai'i, but you get my point), but it couldn't be further from that.
